Who we are?

Karolina & Mario: happy parents of three kids: Marianka (9 years old), Jaś (7 years old) and four-year-old Basia. In October 2022, we moved (with the dog golden retriever – Makaron) to the Thai island name Koh Lanta. Our children are homeschooled and go to a Canadian-Thai school on the island.

We write about traveling with family and spending time together actively in nature (#outdoorfamily is us!), participation in culture and good quality products.

We believe that childhood is a magical time: this is when our sensitivity is shaped and what we remember from it stays for life.

That’s why we give our children our time and our attention and… we take them with us wherever we can. We show them various fantastic places, the closer ones and the farther ones. So that they know how beautiful and diverse it is not only in the world, but above all in Poland (Poland for the Weekend series). Together, we’ve been in Colombia, Chile, Thailand, Cambodia, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, Iceland (this is our unquestionable love! – more on our project website: Moon&Back), and we also travel a lot around Europe: Portugal, the Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Romania, Ukraine and others.

On the blog, we describe our adventures, share parenting experience (To be a parent) and try to spread positive energy: for family traveling (To be a traveller), good and beautifully published books (Here we read), cool workshops and unique products (To be a tester).

We also have our podcast DOBRANOCKA FOR PARENTS. These are conversations about parenthood, active life with children and how not to forget about yourself in all this. Each episode is a different topic, different – the best in the world! – guest. A lot of inspiration, sharing experience, small and big emotions and trying to understand what is most important in life.
