Raised Outside

This part of the blog is less about places and more about what happens to children when they experience the world directly.

When they get bored. Take risks. Climb things. Feel cold. Become fascinated. Learn independence little by little.

Here we connect our own experiences with ideas from developmental psychology and try to understand why nature is not just an addition to childhood, but one of its foundations.

Because children don’t only grow through structured activities and carefully planned lessons. They also grow through mud, movement, frustration, freedom and long hours spent outside.

And honestly, so do adults.
