Warsaw surprised us as a city for families.
Not because it’s packed with “kid attractions”, but because everyday life here naturally leaves space for children. Parks, riverbanks, museums, playgrounds, public transport and long walks somehow connect into days that feel much calmer than we expected from a capital city.
We slowly collected places that genuinely worked for us as a family — not only the obvious tourist spots, but also quieter corners of the city where children can move, explore and simply enjoy being outside.

For us, cities work best when they don’t try too hard to entertain children all the time. Warsaw became one of those places where family life, culture and outdoor time naturally mix together.
